v1.1.0

Competitive Veto

August 29, 2026

This update expands the SYNC Competitive Toolkit with a guided competitive veto system designed for structured Call of Duty matches while preserving the existing Quick Veto workflow for fast scrims, 8s, and casual series generation.

Added
  • Added Competitive Veto as a new option alongside the existing Quick Veto system.
  • Added guided competitive Ban, Pick, and Spawn Assignment steps using configurable veto procedures.
  • Added Team A and Team B assignment with manual or randomized assignment before beginning a competitive veto.
  • Added the initial CDL-Style BO5 competitive procedure for the current Call of Duty ruleset.
  • Added a guided 15-step BO5 veto sequence across Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, and Overload.
  • Added live competitive veto progress tracking showing completed, active, and upcoming procedure steps.
  • Added Undo Previous Step support during competitive vetoes.
  • Added automatic final-series generation using the maps selected during the competitive veto.
  • Added final-series details showing which team selected each map and which team receives the spawn assignment.
  • Added Competitive Veto output formatted for quick copying and sharing through Discord.
  • Added database-driven competitive veto procedures so future games and rulesets can support different veto sequences without rebuilding the public veto engine.

Changed
  • Expanded the public Map Veto tool into separate Quick Veto and Competitive Veto workflows.
  • Preserved Quick Veto as the fast ban-and-randomize option for scrims, 8s, and other matches that do not require a full competitive procedure.
  • Competitive map bans and picks now remove maps from further use within that mode's veto pool.
  • Competitive Veto automatically builds the final series after the configured procedure is completed.
  • Updated the veto interface with Team A/B status, procedure progress, active-team indicators, and a detailed final veto summary.
  • Expanded competition configuration architecture in preparation for future Call of Duty titles, map pools, rulesets, and competitive procedures.
Known Issues
  • Competitive Veto currently records spawn assignments manually. Automated host and spawn assignment rules are planned for further evaluation based on competitive league feedback.
  • Competitive veto procedures are currently configured internally. Administrative procedure editing will be added in a future update.
  • Support ticket submission and tracking are not yet available. The Support Center remains a development placeholder.
  • Statistics and planned NEAT Queue integration remain under development.
  • Expanded public player profiles remain under consideration while SYNC determines what player information should be publicly visible.
v1.0.2

Operations & Reliability

August 29, 2026

This update strengthens SYNC Command's administrative workflows, expands recruitment notifications, improves accountability through audit logging, and resolves several public-site reliability and presentation issues.

Added
  • Added a centralized administrative Audit Log for tracking important actions across SYNC Command.
  • Added audit tracking for account approvals, suspensions, restorations, authority changes, and organization role changes.
  • Added audit tracking for recruitment status changes and internal review activity.
  • Added permanent recruitment deletion auditing so deleted applications retain an administrative history.
  • Added Discord notifications for new recruitment applications through the SYNC administrative alerts channel.
  • Added leadership email notifications for new recruitment applications.
  • Added direct Review Application links to recruitment Discord and email notifications.
Fixed
  • Fixed an issue where accessing SYNC E-Sports through www.syncesports.org could produce a browser security warning. The www address now securely redirects to the primary domain.
  • Fixed outdated Challenge SYNC messaging that incorrectly stated email notifications were not yet enabled.
  • Fixed outdated Challenge management messaging related to creating Scrims from accepted challenges.
  • Fixed team Game metrics truncating Call of Duty into shortened text on public team pages.
  • Removed the abandoned Public Players placeholder by redirecting /public-players to the public Teams directory.
Changed
  • Improved recruitment review accountability by recording which administrator performed recruitment workflow changes.
  • Recruitment notification failures are handled independently so Discord or email delivery problems do not prevent an application from being submitted.
  • Internal recruitment notes are not copied into Audit Log metadata, preserving private review commentary while still recording that a review update occurred.
  • Removed misleading pathway arrows from public team cards where the entire card already serves as the navigation action.
  • Updated Challenge SYNC public messaging to reflect the live email notification system.
Known Issues
  • Support ticket submission and tracking are not yet available. The Support Center remains a development placeholder.
  • Statistics and planned NEAT Queue integration remain under development.
  • Expanded public player profiles remain under consideration while SYNC determines what player information should be publicly visible.
